Was in town for a job and needed a quick bite. Prices were incredible for the portion you receieve. Ordered the steak burrito and was exceptionally happy with my choice. Texture was on point and taste was flavourful, a little spicy and overall authentic. Would definitely recommend to anyone
Great, fresh authentic tasting burritos and taco’s. The owner was really friendly and the food was delicious. The prices are more than fair for the product and portion size. We loved their house made sauces, especially the habanero Xtra-Hot! You can easily leave Viva Burritos stuffed for under 10. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, you have to stop in and try.

Me and my wife recently visited Mexico and we were struggling to find an authentic Mexican place. This place was the closest to an authentic Mexican joint that we could find. Jesus runs this place and he's a great guy who takes pride in his food. I ordered birilla tacos and they were amazing. If you want legit Mexican food, this is your place. 5 stars easy!
Excellent tacos at this cute little shop. The owner is very nice and adds a personal touch to the tacos. They were so well made with love that we ended up ordering like 20 of them among the 4 of us! Definitely coming back again :)
Got the beef burrito and it was so delicious and authentic with the refried beans!! Don’t understand why there are any bad reviews for this lovely place. The owner was super friendly too.
We had a very pleasant time dining at this family run taco and burrito joint. We were the first customers in the morning. The kind man behind the counter was just opening up and let us sit inside away from the rain. The tacos are very good. Our favorite was chorizo. Very delicious. Birria tacos were also good but could be better. The consome that came with birria was very good however. Shredded beef/chicken tacos were good but chorizo was the star.
Amazingly authentic, flavourful and fresh. This is the place you want to go if you want real, unprocessed Mexican and Central American fare. The chicken and beef burritos are fat, fat, fat -- stuffed with refried beans, onions, veggies, sour cream, homemade sauce and more. Did I mention that these are fat? One 12 burrito can easily feed a hungry appetite, or last for two meals. Best deal in Durham Region. Maybe in the entire GTA.
